Dr Tony Evans
Tony loves the news, new ideas and thrives on how our day to day tasks could be shaped by the ever changing face of psychology research.
He enjoys London Theatre, the occasional fringe play and trying out new foodie restaurants (ask him where to eat!)
Tony is perfectly positioned to advise and guide on Secure Base programme development, with his canny ear to the research ground he is always at the leading edge of a discussion or comment on applying his field to business practice.
He understands the details so our client don’t have too, just seamlessly incorporating these findings into our programmes and keeping ahead of the pack.
Tony is a Chartered Counselling Psychologist and Programme convenor for two Psychology and Counselling undergraduate programmes at the University of Roehampton in London. Recently he was voted one most inspiring lecturers at the Roehampton Institute. He runs a successful private therapy practice in Putney, London and has a background of clinical experience in the prison system and NHS Primary Care.

The feedback from this continues to be exceptional. Tony has run experiential workshops for The Fire Service, St John Ambulance, Police and the University sector for the past 10 years.
He holds a Practitioner Doctorate in Counselling Psychology. He was awarded a distinction in his Master’s Degree in Counselling Psychology leading to the award of Chartered Counselling Psychologist status from the British Psychological Society.
